Calais Estate has created the unique experience you’ve been looking for—Winery Long Lunches. This is more than just a Winery tour, it’s the experience all wine lovers are after!
Begin the day with a glass of our sparkling wine and nibbles. Get an all access tour of the inner workings of a Boutique winery. Meet the family behind the brand, learn how wine is made and get hands on designing some of your own custom sparkling, made in the French traditional style.
Then it’s time to relax with a 5 course degustation by the renowned Verandah Restaurant (located on the Estate and one of the most popular restaurants in the Valley) with matching Calais Estate Wines. This is when you get to sample the Estate’s extensive boutique wine list, one of the largest in the Valley, and work out what styles suite your palate.
It’s a great way to spend the afternoon – eating, drinking and relaxing with new friends. Definitely an experience not to be missed but probably best to leave the car at home!
Lunches are held monthly (except in our Wine and Food Month June when they will be held weekly) but places are strictly limited as this is a very intimate experience. If you’ve a group of 10 or more we can book a private Winery Long Lunch for your celebration or get together.
