Much Ado About Nothing
Returning this Summer for the 15th year, Essential Theatre presents one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies, Much Ado About Nothing, set in the stunning grounds of Calais Estate in the Hunter Valley.
Come and join us for an entertaining evening. There will be live music, a bar and food stalls, as well as an energetic and delightful performance!
Student and General Admit tickets start from $40 and can be purchased in conjunction with gourmet hampers and picnic blankets or for a truly special day, join our VIP experience.
As a VIP you will start the day with a behind the scenes winery tour, followed by a hands-on champagne making class, then sit down to a long lunch with matched wines, hosted by the Estate Owners and Winemakers. When it’s time for the performance you can take up position in the reserved viewing area with picnic blankets and cheese platters supplied for your enjoyment.
Gates Open: 4pm
Live Music and food and wine stalls will commence from 4pm
Performance Commences around: 6pm

Live music will recommence and the bar will remain open after the performance.
