On the evening of Saturday 30th September the night skies over Roche Estate will light up in a vivid display of fire and colour for the first ever Hunter Valley Night Glow. A highlight of many balloon fiestas – and making its first appearance at the Hunter Valley Balloon Fiesta – is the traditional night glow where tethered balloons light up the evening sky in a fun and exciting choreographed display.
The Hunter Valley Night Glow festivities begin from 5.00pm and run through until 9pm, making this an event for the whole family.
The evening will include a family friendly night market showcasing some of the Hunter Valley’s best food and wine, along with live musical performances throughout the night. Families will have the opportunity to walk through a semi-inflated hot air balloon and learn how a balloon operates. Face painting and activities to entertain younger children will be on offer, while a mini balloon flight display is sure to delight everyone. The highlight of the night will be the balloon Night Glow where nine hot air balloons will light up the night sky, all choreographed to music. This breathtaking spectacle will culminate with a fireworks display over Roche Estate.
